“Antidote” (original title The Survivalist / Antidote) is a post-apocalyptic thriller film of European-American production, set in a devastated world after a global pandemic and a virus. The film depicts a former FBI agent as a man living a lonely life. He is forced to protect a woman who is immune to the virus from a powerful criminal group. This group plans to use the woman’s immunity to create a “cure” for the virus or control it. Throughout the events, the characters struggle between trust, survival, and the future of humanity. The film provides the viewer with strong tension through a dark atmosphere, closed areas, and psychological pressure. The story focuses on humanity and the instinct for survival.
