A captured hunter escapes sacrifice and fights through the jungle to save his family.

The film takes place during the time of the ancient Mayan civilization. A hunter named Jaguar Paw lives a peaceful life, but his village is attacked and he is captured. The enemies take him to the city to be sacrificed. But he manages to escape and the fight for his life begins. He runs through the forests, trying to escape his enemies, but at the same time he is forced to return to save his pregnant wife and child. The film shows the human instinct for survival, courage and loyalty to family in a dramatic and realistic way.
