Baris Akarsu Merhaba tells the life story of Turkish rock musician Barış Akarsu, following his journey from a young man passionate about music to a nationally recognized performer. In 2004, Barış enters the singing competition “Akademi Türkiye” and wins, giving him the opportunity to pursue music professionally. The film explores his rise to fame, musical ambitions, relationships with his family and loved ones, and the challenges that come with becoming a public figure. His career develops rapidly, but his promising life is tragically cut short in 2007 when he is involved in a car accident in Bodrum. The film presents his story as a journey of dreams, music, success and loss.
