A man sees an alternate life and learns what true happiness means.

The film tells the story of the life of an ordinary worker, Larry Burrows. He lives a life of dissatisfaction and one day accidentally enters a roadside cafe. There, talking to a mysterious bartender, he imagines what would have happened if he had made different decisions in his life. His life immediately changes: he becomes the owner of a successful, rich and luxurious life. However, over time, he realizes that such a life does not really make him happy. The film shows deep philosophical ideas about human choice, destiny and what true happiness is.
