A poor thief seeks redemption through love while confronting his tragic past.
"The Tramp" is one of the most famous classics of Indian cinema. The film tells the story of a young man named Raj, who grows up in a poor neighborhood. He grows up among criminals because of his father's rejection in childhood and becomes a petty thief. Years later, he meets his childhood sweetheart Rita. Rita is a young lawyer who tries to help Raj change his life. Raj tries to get out of the world of crime, but his past and destiny prevent him. The film covers themes such as social inequality, love, father-son relationships, and the formation of human character. It is one of Raj Kapoor's most famous works.
