Based on General Jang Bogo (809–851 CE), a naval commander of Unified Silla who built the largest maritime trade hub of East Asia. He secured routes between Korea, Tang China and Japan, led anti-pirate campaigns, and re-shaped military trade power in the 9th century after rising from slavery to supremacy.
