A young couple buys their dream duplex, but a troublesome old tenant turns their life into chaos.

"Duplex" is a dark comedy film about a young couple, Alex and Nancy. They buy their dream house in New York - a beautiful duplex. Since the house is very cheap, they consider it a great success. However, an old woman living upstairs - Mrs. Connelly - turns out to be a big problem in their peaceful life. The woman is very demanding and restless, tormenting the young couple every day with various requests and noises. It is also impossible to evict her from the house due to legal reasons. Over time, Alex and Nancy lose their patience and start making various funny and strange plans to get rid of her. The film tells the story of black humor, funny situations and human patience.
