An aging cowboy escorts a boy from Mexico and discovers redemption on the journey.
In 1979, former rodeo champion and horse breeder Mike Milo receives an unusual assignment from his old boss. He must go to Mexico to rescue his boss's son, Rafo, from his mother and return him to the United States. During the journey, Mike and Rafo face various dangers, but gradually they grow closer and develop a father-son relationship. The experienced cowboy explains to the young man that true masculinity is not about strength and brutality, but about responsibility, kindness and honesty. This film is a touching drama about a person's late salvation, life lessons and relationships between generations.
