Akira Sato, a legendary assassin known as "Fable", is one of the most dangerous and skilled performers in the criminal world. One day, his boss gives him an unusual task: he must live as an ordinary person for a year without killing anyone. Akira moves to Osaka and starts a new life with Yoko, whom he introduces as his sister. However, criminals, old enemies and random conflicts do not leave him alone. He tries to protect himself and those around him, while not violating the condition of not killing. The film successfully combines action scenes, comic situations and a criminal plot.
