A gambler falls in love amid the turmoil of the Cuban Revolution.

In late 1958, on the eve of the Cuban Revolution, professional gambler Jack Whale arrives in Havana to participate in a big poker game. Although he tries to stay away from politics, things change when he meets the beautiful Bobbi Duran, who is associated with the revolutionaries. Bobbi's husband is a member of the movement fighting against the government, which draws Jack into the center of a dangerous political conflict. As violence and unrest in the country increase, Jack is forced to choose between love, conscience and self-interest. The film depicts a love story against the backdrop of historical events and the Cuban Revolution.
