Masha enters an enchanted forest to rescue her brother from Baba Yaga.

Masha's parents leave for a fair and tell her to look after her younger brother Vanya. However, Masha becomes distracted while playing with her friends and leaves the boy unattended. Soon, a flock of magical geese-swans, servants of Baba Yaga, swoops down and carries Vanya away into the forest. Realizing her mistake, Masha sets off to rescue her brother. Along the way, she meets a magical stove, an apple tree and a milk river with jelly banks. Masha treats them kindly, and they later return her kindness by helping the children hide from the pursuing geese-swans. Eventually, Masha reaches Baba Yaga's hut and manages to take Vanya back. The siblings flee through the enchanted forest while the geese-swans chase them. With courage, kindness and cleverness, Masha succeeds in bringing her brother safely home.
