A journalist meets a killer who once used his identity and tries to uncover the truth behind the story.

True Story is a psychological drama about journalist Michael Finkel, who loses his job after a scandal. Soon he discovers that a man accused of murdering his family had been hiding in Mexico using Finkel’s name. Intrigued by the strange connection, the journalist begins meeting the accused killer, Christian Longo. Their conversations turn into an intense psychological battle as Finkel tries to uncover the real truth.
