An unlucky man becomes a legendary hero in a mysterious parallel world.

Remi Bassano is a simple and unsuccessful painter-restorer living in Paris. His life is full of problems: he loses his job, gets into debt, and his wife leaves him. Suddenly, he is mysteriously transported to another, parallel world. In this world, the small Begameni tribe lives under the oppression of a cruel tyrant and cannibal ruler. The tribe is waiting for a savior from heaven, and Remi is considered this hero. Remi travels between two worlds, makes new friends, regains his self-confidence, and fights to free the tribe. The film combines fantasy, humor, and themes of human self-realization.
