Two former lovers reunite on a rainy day and hide the painful truth about their lives.

Manu travels to Kolkata hoping to find work and improve his difficult circumstances. During a rainy afternoon, he decides to visit Neeru, the woman he once loved. Their unexpected reunion brings back memories of the relationship they lost and the dreams they once shared. Neither wants the other to know how badly life has treated them, so both pretend to be happier and more successful than they really are. As they spend the afternoon together, small details gradually reveal the truth behind their carefully constructed stories. Inspired by O. Henry’s “The Gift of the Magi,” the film is a quiet story about lost love, dignity, sacrifice, loneliness and the emotions that remain long after two people have separated.
