The true story of the first successful climb to Mount Everest.
"Achieving the Impossible" is a historical documentary drama film about the first ascent of Mount Everest. The film tells the story of the ascent of the world's highest mountain by New Zealand climber Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay in 1953. The film depicts their complex training, cold weather, lack of oxygen and mental pressure, based on real events. Through archival footage and re-enactments, the viewer deeply feels the atmosphere of that time. The work shows the perseverance, courage and determination of a person to achieve seemingly impossible goals, and commemorates one of the greatest expeditions in the history of Everest.
