Set in late 19th-century Istanbul, Filinta follows Mustafa, a highly skilled detective serving the Ottoman Empire's Ministry of Justice. Alongside his partner Bicak Ali, he investigates complex crimes, murders, conspiracies, and secret networks threatening the state. Mustafa's life changes when he is falsely accused of a serious crime and must fight to clear his name and survive. His investigations gradually lead him into a much larger world of political intrigue, betrayal, and powerful enemies operating from within and beyond the empire.
