Two brothers overcome poverty and prejudice to build a global bodybuilding empire.
Joe and Ben Weider grow up in poverty and face anti-Semitism, but their difficult childhood inspires them to pursue a bigger future. The brothers become passionate about fitness and begin building a business around bodybuilding magazines, competitions and physical culture. Their ambitions eventually lead to the creation of a powerful fitness empire and the growth of modern bodybuilding as an international sport. Along the way, they discover and support promising athletes, including a young Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose career becomes closely connected to their vision.
