A detective impersonates a prosecutor while investigating a mysterious disappearance and a dangerous conspiracy
Ji Hyun-soo runs a private detective agency and accepts a seemingly simple case from a client who wants him to find her missing dog. However, after visiting a remote vacation house, Hyun-soo is attacked and loses consciousness. When he wakes up, his client has disappeared and he is suddenly suspected of kidnapping her. Things become even stranger when, after a car accident, he is mistaken for a prosecutor. Taking advantage of the confusion, Hyun-soo assumes the prosecutor's identity and begins investigating the disappearance while trying to clear his own name. What starts as a simple missing-person case gradually leads him toward a powerful law firm owner and a much larger criminal conspiracy.
