A former superhero trains gifted teenagers to become a new team and save the world.
Jack Shepard, once known as the superhero Captain Zoom, has abandoned his heroic career after losing his powers. Living a quiet and ordinary life, he is reluctant to return to action when the government asks him to train a new generation of superheroes. Jack is sent to a private academy where he meets four teenagers with unusual abilities. The young heroes are talented but inexperienced, and each of them struggles to understand and control their powers. Jack must teach them discipline, teamwork and responsibility while helping them overcome their personal fears. As a dangerous threat approaches, the unlikely group must learn to trust one another and become a real superhero team. Jack's mission is not simply to train the teenagers, but also to rediscover the hero he once was.
