Edge of Tomorrow is a science fiction action film set in the near future, where Earth is invaded by powerful alien creatures known as Mimics. Major William Cage, an inexperienced military officer, is forced into combat and killed within minutes. However, he becomes trapped in a time loop, reliving the same battle over and over again. Each death resets the day, allowing Cage to improve his combat skills and gather intelligence about the enemy. With the help of skilled warrior Rita Vrataski, he trains to defeat the alien forces and find a way to end the time loop. The film combines intense action, humor, and a unique time-travel concept.
