Briggs takes a traumatized military dog on a long road trip to her fallen handler’s funeral.

Former Army Ranger Jackson Briggs is desperate to return to active duty, but a head injury keeps him sidelined. After a fellow soldier dies, Briggs is assigned to take Lulu, his fallen comrade’s traumatized Belgian Malinois, to his funeral in Arizona. Since Lulu refuses to fly, they must travel by road.
