Identity, family reunion, and the strength of friendship in unfamiliar territory
The beloved New York City zoo animals—Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippo, and Melman the giraffe—attempt to fly back home from Madagascar. Instead, they crash-land in the vast plains of Africa. There, Alex reunites with his long-lost parents, and the group discovers that the wild is much different than their pampered life in Central Park.
