A con artist poses as an architect's wife and moves into his house, weaving a web of lies that changes both lives

Architect Newton Davis builds a dream house for his girlfriend, only to be rejected. Heartbroken, he shares his story with Gwen, a free-spirited waitress with a penchant for lying. Gwen finds the vacant house and moves in, telling the entire town that she is Newton's wife. When Newton discovers the deception, he initially tries to kick her out but soon realizes her lies might actually help him get his life back on track. The two form an unlikely partnership built on elaborate fictions and growing affection.
