A career-focused father struggles to manage his four children when his wife leaves for ten days.
Antoine Mercier is the head of human resources at a large home-improvement company and is close to receiving an important promotion. He is highly focused on his career, while his wife Isabelle takes care of their four children and manages most of the household. When Isabelle decides to take a short break and leave for several days, Antoine confidently takes responsibility for the children, believing that looking after them will be easy. He soon discovers that he has seriously underestimated the demands of family life. School, childcare, meals, arguments and countless everyday problems quickly turn his carefully organized life into chaos. At the same time, Antoine must continue dealing with the pressure of his career and the promotion he has been working toward. During ten exhausting days without their mother, Antoine is forced to understand his children better and appreciate the work Isabelle has been doing for the family.
