After learning she is dying, Ann secretly makes the most of the little time she has left.
Twenty-three-year-old Ann lives a quiet family life with her husband and two young daughters. Everything changes when she discovers that she has a terminal illness and only a short time left to live. Instead of telling her family, Ann decides to keep the diagnosis secret and make the most of the time she has remaining. She creates a list of things she wants to accomplish, prepares messages and gifts for her daughters, and tries to put her life in order before it is too late. For the first time, she allows herself to experience things she had always postponed or avoided. Her unexpected relationship with a lonely stranger brings new emotions into her life and makes her reconsider love, marriage and happiness. As time runs out, Ann discovers a new intensity and meaning in the ordinary moments of life.
