College students become trapped in an abandoned hospital inhabited by a family of cannibalistic killers.

A group of college students goes on a snowmobile trip through the mountains, but a powerful snowstorm forces them off course. Searching for shelter, they discover an abandoned psychiatric hospital and decide to spend the night inside. They soon realize that the building is not empty. It has become the home of a family of deformed cannibals who have been living there for years. Trapped inside the isolated facility, the students must navigate dark corridors, avoid deadly traps and find a way outside while the killers hunt them one by one. The film serves as a prequel to the original Wrong Turn, exploring the earlier history of Three Finger, One Eye and Saw Tooth and their violent existence.
