The film follows C. Sankaran Nair, a renowned Indian lawyer and statesman who takes on the British Empire after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919. On April 13, British troops under General Reginald Dyer opened fire on a large gathering of unarmed Indians in Amritsar, leaving thousands dead or wounded. Determined to expose the truth, Nair launches a major legal battle against the colonial government. Facing enormous political pressure and resistance, he refuses to remain silent and fights to reveal what really happened. The courtroom struggle becomes a powerful confrontation between an individual seeking justice and an empire determined to protect its authority and suppress the truth.
