After his wife vanishes at a gas station, a detective becomes the prime suspect and starts a rogue search for the truth.

The story follows a high-ranking police detective who goes on a summer vacation with his wife to the south of the country. During a brief routine stop at a highway gas station, his wife vanishes completely without a single trace. The local law enforcement opens an official missing persons investigation, but a total lack of clues and mounting contradictions soon turn the grieving husband into the prime suspect. Realizing that the local authorities are building a case against him while time is running out, the desperate husband uses his elite investigative skills to launch a rogue, independent search to uncover the truth.
