A magical golden fish grants wishes, but greed eventually destroys everything the old woman gains.

An old fisherman catches a magical golden fish that begs for freedom and promises to grant any wish in return. The fisherman asks for nothing, but his greedy wife keeps demanding more and more: a new house, wealth, power, and even control over the sea itself. With every wish, her ambition grows stronger until everything collapses. Based on Alexander Pushkin’s famous fairy tale, this classic Soviet animated film delivers a timeless lesson about greed, gratitude, and human nature.
