A grieving mother investigates her son's murder and uncovers a dangerous criminal network.
Marissa Bennings is an experienced journalist whose life is forever changed by the brutal murder of her son. Unsatisfied with the results of the official investigation, the woman begins to independently investigate the true causes of the crime. She teams up with her son's lover, Paige, and plunges into a dangerous world of drug trafficking, corruption, and crime. During the investigation, new secrets are revealed, and perceptions of loved ones change.
