A police officer fights to save hostages trapped inside a nightclub.

The film tells the story of an experienced police officer, Zhong Wen. He goes to a nightclub to meet his daughter, but is soon taken hostage by criminals. The club owner, Wu Jiang, has a complex and dangerous plan, which aims to take revenge on the police for an old enmity. Zhong Wen uses his intelligence, experience and courage to rescue the hostages and protect his daughter. The film is shot in a more dramatic and dark style, unlike the previous parts of "Police Story". The picture combines fight scenes, psychological tension and emotional family conflict. Jackie Chan created a serious and dramatic image in this film.
