Uncle Fyodor escapes to Prostokvashino to spend his vacation with Matroskin and Sharik.

Uncle Fyodor is bored in the city and misses his friends Matroskin the Cat and Sharik the Dog, who continue living in Prostokvashino. Matroskin has become deeply involved in household work and has acquired a cow named Murka, whose enormous amount of milk creates a rather unusual problem: there are hardly enough containers left in the house. Sharik also wants to prove that he is useful, so he goes hunting, but after receiving a camera gun, he becomes much more interested in photographing animals. Meanwhile, Fyodor’s mother decides to go to a seaside resort for a vacation. Fyodor does not want to leave for the sea, so he finds a way to escape at the railway station and travels to Prostokvashino instead. Reunited with his beloved friends, he spends his holidays surrounded by the familiar countryside and their usual comic adventures.
