A spoiled rich man wakes up as a serf in a realistic historical experiment.
Grigory is the spoiled son of a wealthy businessman, living a luxurious life and considering himself above the law. After his next quarrel, his father loses his patience and, together with a psychologist, organizes an unusual educational experiment. Grigory suddenly feels like he has woken up as a serf peasant in 19th-century Russia. In fact, he is living in a specially built historical village, and all the people around him are actors. The hero begins to understand the true value of hard work, responsibility, friendship and love. The film illuminates the theme of human transformation and understanding of life values through humorous situations.
