A boy runs away and discovers the reality of life.

The film tells the story of an 8-year-old village boy named Kanchan. He is always playful and hates his strict father. He always imagines his mother as oppressed and unhappy. In his imagination, Kanchan sees the city as a place of freedom and wealth, and one day he runs away to Calcutta. There, he meets different people - vendors, artists and ordinary citizens - and begins to understand the complexities of life. He realizes that the city is not the ideal place for him as he dreamed. In the end, he returns home and accepts his father not as evil, but as a person who has suffered from the hardships of life. The film deeply explores childhood, imagination and the process of growing up.
