A kidnapping mix-up sends two women named Happy into a chaotic adventure across Shanghai.

Two women named Harpreet Kaur, both known as Happy, arrive in Shanghai at the same time for completely different reasons. One Happy travels to China with her husband Guddu, while the other is a horticulture professor who has come to work at a university. A group of Chinese gangsters is sent to kidnap one of them, but they mistakenly take the wrong Happy from the airport. Their mistake sets off a chaotic chain of events involving kidnappers, friends, embassy officials and the two women. As everyone tries to understand what has happened and find the missing Happy, the situation becomes increasingly absurd. The film turns the identity mix-up into a fast-moving comedy filled with confusion, chases and unexpected twists.
