Alex Cardo is a thief who gets caught trying to steal a ceremonial katana. In prison, he is mentored by Master Sun, who teaches him the discipline of martial arts. Once out, Alex must redeem himself by honoring his teacher, recovering the stolen sword, and defeating the ruthless reigning champion in the deadly Kumite tournament.
