Two circus performers help young lovers overcome greed, danger and injustice.

The events unfold in Azerbaijan at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. Circus artists Rustam and his friend San Sanych travel to Rustam's homeland. They unexpectedly become involved in a love affair between a young singer Teymur and the daughter of a wealthy bey Telly. The girl's father puts wealth and profit above love. Rustam and San Sanych embark on various adventures to help the lovers. The film combines battle scenes, horse stunts, humor and music by Polad Bulbuloglu. The work is one of the famous classics of Azerbaijani cinema, promoting the ideas of friendship, courage, love and justice.
