A veteran pool hustler mentors a gifted young player, but rivalry soon takes over.
“The Color of Money” follows legendary pool hustler Fast Eddie Felson, who has stepped away from the high-stakes billiards world. His life changes when he discovers Vincent, a young player overflowing with raw talent and confidence. Eddie decides to mentor him, teaching not only pool techniques but also the psychological tricks behind hustling and winning money. As they travel through smoky pool halls and underground tournaments, Vincent’s arrogance begins to clash with Eddie’s experience and discipline. Their partnership slowly turns into rivalry. Directed by Martin Scorsese, the film blends stylish 1980s visuals, intense character drama, and electric billiard sequences into a sharp story about pride, ambition, and redemption.
