A student becomes a paid stand-in boyfriend, but real feelings complicate his plans.

Brooks Rattigan is a high school student with excellent grades and dreams of attending his ideal college, but he needs money and a strong extracurricular activity to make his application stand out. With the help of his programmer friend Murph, Brooks creates an app that allows girls to hire him as a stand-in boyfriend for dates, parties and other occasions. He can change his personality and appearance to become whatever kind of boyfriend his client wants. At first, the business seems like an easy way to earn money for college. But as Brooks takes on more dates and different identities, he begins to question who he really is. When genuine feelings enter the picture, his carefully constructed plan becomes much more complicated.
