A broke man’s life changes after meeting a disabled child.
The film tells the story of Jeong-seok, a lonely man in debt. He accidentally enters the house of his deceased maid, where he meets So-yi, a little girl with hearing and vision impairment. At first, he sees the girl as nothing more than a problem and tries to get rid of her, but circumstances force him to become her guardian. Gradually, trust and a delicate emotional connection develop between them. The man learns to communicate with the girl, tries to understand her world, and changes his outlook on life. The film shows that human kindness, patience, and true “wealth” are not material, but in relationships.
