On a ship sailing from England to Algeria, they are faced with various mysterious figures and the threat of assassination. Holmes tries to save the prince's life, uncovers assassination plots and outsmarts dangerous criminals. The film is a vivid example of the classic Conan Doyle characters solving complex adventures with intelligence and observation.
