A true story of an Olympian who survives war and captivity.
The film is based on true events and tells the story of the life of American athlete and war hero Louis Zamperini. He was a talented runner who participated in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. When World War II broke out, he joined the Air Force. After his plane crashed into the Pacific Ocean, Louis and his companions fought for survival at sea for 47 days. Later, they were captured by the Japanese military. During his captivity, Louis endured severe torture, mental and physical trials, but his strong will and perseverance did not break him. The film is a vivid example of human resilience and the struggle for survival.
