A taxi driver witnesses the Gwangju uprising with a journalist.

Set against the backdrop of the 1980 Gwangju uprising, the film follows ordinary taxi driver Kim Man-seob as he drives German journalist Jürgen Hinrichs into the city. Through this, they witness the civilian protests and military oppression. The film realistically portrays historical events while highlighting personal courage, humanity, and justice.
