Ray Tango and Gabriel Cash are two of Los Angeles' top detectives who constantly compete with each other while solving crimes in their own unique styles. Their rivalry makes them easy targets for crime lord Yves Perret, who frames both officers for a crime they did not commit. Sent to prison, the two enemies must put aside their differences and work together to escape, clear their names, and bring down the people responsible.
