A young man embarks on a magical quest to find a beautiful princess.

King's servant Irji accidentally eats a piece of a magical snake and gains the extraordinary ability to understand the language of animals. When the king discovers what happened, he sends Jiří on a challenging mission to find and bring back the beautiful Princess Zlatovláska. Throughout his journey, Jiří helps animals and strangers, earning loyal friends who later come to his aid when he needs them most. Based on a beloved Czech fairy tale, the film celebrates kindness, courage, honesty, and the rewards of selfless deeds.
