Pacific Rim: Uprising is a sequel set ten years after the Kaiju war. Humanity has rebuilt its Jaeger program, but a new threat emerges when mysterious drones turn hostile. Jake Pentecost, the son of Stacker Pentecost, joins forces with young recruits and veteran pilots to defend Earth once again. As the Kaiju threat resurfaces in a more advanced form, the pilots must work together to stop global destruction. The film features large-scale battles between giant robots and monsters, futuristic technology, and themes of leadership and redemption.
