The king runs away and leaves a young prince behind. Poor soldiers and the new ruler start a dangerous fight for the nation.

When enemies invade the country, the cowardly king runs away, leaving his young son to rule. The young prince must go on a dangerous trip to gather a new army. A group of poor mercenaries, who fight in place of rich men for money, are hired to protect him. During this hard journey under attack, the simple soldiers and the young ruler must stand together to fight for their lives and save the nation.
