A gangster rises during Prohibition but risks everything for love and power.

The film takes place in the United States in the 1920s, during the era of prohibition - "Prohibition". The main character, Joe Coughlin, is the son of a police officer, but he enters the world of crime. He quickly gains wealth and power through illegal alcohol trafficking and mafia-related activities.
