A con artist helps his friend with a wedding plan, but a series of misunderstandings changes everything.

Azamat is a talented con artist living and working in Moscow. After getting into trouble with the mafia, he returns to his hometown of Almaty, where his old friend Timur asks him for help. Timur is a successful businessman preparing to marry his beloved Alia, but according to an old Kazakh tradition, he wants Azamat to help “kidnap” his bride before the wedding. What begins as a simple favor soon turns into a chain of misunderstandings. Azamat’s family mistakenly believes that Alia is his future wife, creating an awkward situation that threatens the wedding plans. As the characters struggle to explain what really happened, friendship, romance and family expectations collide in a series of comic situations.
