Musketeers protect the king and fight a dangerous conspiracy.

The film begins with the arrival of a young Gascon man, D'Artagnan, in Paris and his dream of serving in the royal musketeers. He befriends the three musketeers, Athos, Porthos and Aramis, and becomes their loyal companion. Together, they try to thwart the secret intrigues in the royal court, the dangerous plans of Cardinal Richelieu and his spy Milady de Winter. The musketeers fight with loyalty and courage under the motto "One for all, all for one." The film is in the spirit of a classic adventure, highlighting the themes of friendship, honor and loyalty, and is one of the first Hollywood adaptations of the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas.
